Auto sizing a formatted outline box in Excel

    Hi all,
I have a query on how and if this is possible -
At work, we use an Excel spreadsheet which we have used since 1995, one sheet is the Data Input screen. This screen is formatted in an outline and has cell gridlines for onscreen viewing as well as for printing, the grid covers a whole A4 sheet. It gets populated with data via a Lookup format from another sheet in the spreadsheet. It is opened in Excel 2007.

In recent times the number of lines used has decreased and having the whole of an A4 sheet formatted gridlined is a waste.

Our query is the following - is it possible for Excel to know the number of lines populated and to auto size the formatted outline box and the gridlines? We would like to use Excel 2007 as an edit program although later versions of Excel may be used to open up the spreadsheet.

    Cheers all
