News Paper Planning Advert Deadline

    When does the 14 day deadline end following the publication of a Planning Permission advert in a Newspaper?

    Is day of publication considered day '0' or day '1'?

    I.E if the advert was published on a Thursday, the following Friday (next day) is day number 1, etc. etc...... meaning the the final day to submit the planning permission application is the Thursday 2 weeks after publication?

    Or else the Wednesday 2 weeks after publication?

    Close of business, 14 days from publication.
    So in the newspaper 1st, that's day 1.

    The newspaper advert should be the last thing to do. Whoever is acting as the agent should be in a position to lodge on the day of publication. That's how I work anyhow.

    the phrase used is "within 14 days" of the date of the newspaper

    so the date of the newspaper + 2 weeks = 14 days.... which is NOT within 14 days.
