There's also http://garmin.kiesewetter.nl though seems down

If/when those don't work, cursing loudly helped me.

Was it a decent spin you (potentially) lost?

do you clear out your old fit files from time to time? It is a good practice to delete (or move them to your PC) from time to time to avoid slow writes or corruption issues.

Try uploading it to ridewithgps.com, then export the file back down before uploading it to strava.

The upload process has cleaning function that often works with damaged files.

Just use it as motivation to go out and PB them again.

    It's OK :)

That file should work OK now. When I put it on RWGPS everything look fine.

Not sure what corrupted it but I find that Garmin edges are one of the few devices that you have to "eject" properly from a PC etc. You can't just yank them off the USB cable.

It is also a good habit to get into, to at the start of every month, .zip the fit files and email then to yourself, then delete them off the Garmin.

I don't think Garmins edges like being "full" either, not saying that any of the above caused the corruption, but I find it "good practise" to keep them clean.

    Excellent stuff!!!!

I have cleared all the 98 files and will adapt better practice ejecting the device going forward.

    Much appreciated.
