I'm not expecting great results from this but I'll give it a go! A couple of years ago (maybe 5/6 years?) my mam went to New York with her sisters and they found this guy at the airport who basically transported them all around New York and took their shopping bags from them and put it in his van for them so they didn't have to carry them around (you'd swear they were posh haha). We're going back to New York in November this year as there has been a couple of big birthdays mainly 3 of my cousins turning 16. There's 9 of us going and it would be great to have that service that my mam had purely cause there's going to be A LOT of shopping! Thing is my mam doesn't remember the company he worked for, just that his name was Orrin. If by any chance someone knows this guy or knows a company that does this I would be very grateful if you could send me contact details for them!
    Thanks in advance!

"Car services" are very common in new york city. You'll see those black sedans driving around all over the place.

But what you want is a bit more specialised than just a glorified taxi so I would do a google search on:

    "chauffeur services new york"

You're sure to find what you want. It may be expen$ive though. Make sure the company you pick understands that you need more than just a driver. I would certainly do some research about quality of service too, you could try TripAdvisor.com and Yelp for reviews.

Also remember to tip well. Money speaks in those kind of businesses.

There is an irish owned taxi/limo service over there called 'break to the border' . They should be able to sort you out or put you on to someone who will.
    Google them.
