Hi all! We have been experiencing an issue on site where threads have been missing the latest postings. The platform host Vanilla are working on this issue. A workaround that has been used by some is to navigate back from 1 to 10+ pages to re-sync the thread and this will then show the latest posts. Thanks, Mike.

ALBION have withdrawn Nacer Chadli from Belgium’s international plans because of a knee injury which will force him to miss Sunday’s Premier League game at Leicester City.

The Baggies record signing flew to Belgium this week for a “minor procedure” to treat the injury.

Albion’s Director of Performance Dr Mark Gillett said: “Everything went well and Nacer is back with us and already working hard on his rehabilitation.

"He will be in contention for a return to action after the international break.”

Nacer was named in his nation’s provisional squad for their forthcoming fixtures against Holland and Estonia having regained his international place in the wake of his impressive form with the Baggies.

Aye. Beside their current £30 million problem.

Edit - apologies. I wouldn't normally but couldn't resist. I know this forum is not somewhere to bring club allegiances.

Stanislas has trained ahead of the game and Howe will make a late decision on the winger. Surman is struggling. King is fine #AFCB

Forget about him. He's not reliable enough FPL-wise. Pay the extra cash for either Fonte, Bertrand or VVD. If you can't (I mean if the cash from Valencia serves other purposes), you'd rather pick a reliable player from another cheaper team (Burnley, Bournemouth) or change your mind and hop on the Chelsea defensive train. 4 CS in a row. Looks like Conte finally settled the team around his iconic back 3 formation in a flexible 3-4-3 / 5-2-3 / 5-2-2-1 and Chelsea defensive solidity seems back to life.

In a way (yeah I still don't FPL-rate Gundogan that high but everytime I say this the guy explodes :pac:), it makes me regret not having jumped early on the Gundogan bandwagon (downgrading Arnie) since this could allow me upgrading McAuley to Azpi (I still can but not worth the hit now and will prob be short on cash to do so in the coming GWs).

But he's the best right back in Europe!! :p:p:p

I wouldn't touch him at the minute, but when fit, his place is under no risk, Martina has been woeful in his absence.

Forster is still my pick of the Southampton back line for now.
    Bertrand when fully fit.

It'll be another few weeks before I'll be looking at any of them when their fixture congestion eases a bit and there's a fuller squad to choose from.

Yeah thats why I went Brunt in the end. Waiting till GW14 when Saints have a fabulous run into the new year and Europa league largely done apart from last game vs Hapoel which should be a dead rubber.

If Cedric would manage to drop to 4.8 by then it'd be amazing. Unlikely though.

Hmm considering him in a switch to 3-5-2 now. Something like

    Hazard Coutinho Firmino Sanchez Chadli

    Aguero Austin

Plus leaves me money in the bank to upgrade Chadli/defender depending on how things are going.

    http://www.liverpoolecho.co.uk/sport/liverpool-pair-coutinho-firmino-brazil-12061537

Summary: Firmino and Coutinho arrive back from Brazil on Thursday, and the Liverpool team travel to Southampton on Friday.

I have both of them, and the suspended Holebas and Smith, and still carrying Amat meaning I have only two playing defenders. I think I might hide behind a sofa next GW.

Won't be making a transfer until Friday week at the earliest

The second Brazil match is on Tues 15th Nov, so Firmino and Coutinho should fly back to Liverpool on the Wed giving them Thurs to rest and Friday morning to train before the game on Sat. A tough away fixture to Southampton, so I expect both will start barring any injuries.

You can add Sanchez & Agüero who are gonna have an even tougher break (Chile are in deep trouble, Argentina are in potential trouble for WC18 qualification). And Arsenal go away to United for the early Saturday kick off.
May I add that both Arsenal & City will face key CL games 4 days later (home to an improving PSG to top their group for Arsenal, away to 'Gladbach secure 2nd place for City (though that should be OK considering their respective last game)).

So basically, in terms of the performing premium players, next GW is gonna be a blank GW.

If one wants to try and gamble on something different, maybe a Sanchez+Aguero -> KDB+Costa for 1 GW could work out. But that's for -8 (to get the 2 big South Americans back for the subsequent GW). Unless you get or keep Walcott in the process such that if the gamble works you're "covered" for the next GW(s)(?) if you're happy to continue rolling with it.
Huge call though. We'll have to see how these internationals go. But if there's a one and only time for such a call, it's for this upcoming GW.

Could be great news for Sanchez owners if its a minor tweak. 2 weeks rest, comes back with 4 goals against United.

Hopefully he isn't out as then everyone will do Sanchez to hazard. The game will be far more interesting if people have to make the choice between one or the other or both and sacrifice elsewhere.

    Second that.

Currently, Sanchez currently on 11.4 and Haz on 10.1.

Don't fancy losing value on Sanchez even if I do go for Hazard who will most likely rise.

    Well yes and no.

You forget KDB who will have a very good fixture (his next 3 are actually much better than Hazard) and City can't continue underperforming like that.

Let's us all not forget that Chelsea had a run of
    - away draw to an already poor Swansea,
    - home defeat vs 'Pool that gave them a football lesson,
    - away thrashing vs Arsenal, second lesson in a row.

Who was backing Hazard after these 3 games? Who was praising Conte then?
Who could have guessed Chelsea were going to start a 16-0 series over 5 games and become the new PL terror after these 3 games?
Back then, only Costa was returning dividends though many went Lukaku ahead of him.

So, I would not discard good attackers that have both good PL & FPL history especially when they're in a Guardiola team.
