Hi all! We have been experiencing an issue on site where threads have been missing the latest postings. The platform host Vanilla are working on this issue. A workaround that has been used by some is to navigate back from 1 to 10+ pages to re-sync the thread and this will then show the latest posts. Thanks, Mike.

Kane has a slight groin problem won't be risked in fa cup at the weekend.

    Chambers out for 4 weeks.

Actually solves some of my defensive selection and transfer headaches for the next while!!

Same here once he is back for gw 26. Its things like this that I'm so glad I could play my BB all 15 started and I didn't need to take a hit.

Problem is 4 weeks is... GW26.

It's a pity for this week-end since he had a good fixture but with my premium enough defense, so far it solves a selection headache.

Dinnery reckons Chambers will be 'a few months'.

Can absorb a 0.1 drop, so will hold Chambers for the moment.
Other defenders are at home this week.

I had a benching dilemma between him and Cedric this weekend.

I was also struggling to see who to sell for Funes Mori or Coleman. That's still not sorted as if Boro end up with a game in GW28 I'd probably hold Chambers.

Will get an Everton def too - don't reckon Holgate will keep his place for forseeable future?

Oh yes he could be an even cheaper option

Karanka not sure when Chambers will return: “He has a stress fracture [foot]. I don’t know how long, if it will be 1, 2, 3 or 4 weeks."

Holgate gets his place as long as we keep playing that formation. Imo. Slight fear of Jags starting ahead of him

    Jags - Funes - Williams

but i'd be suprised if Koeman did that myself tbh.

Koeman has said Jags can leave this window if he wants.

    Holgate is ahead of him.

At least I can sell him now with a clear conscience. He was still getting sold but still :o

@BenDinnery: Jeffrey Schlupp looks like he could be out for a while. Allardyce confirms his new signing has done his hamstring: "It's a big blow." #CPFC

    Maybe no more PVA OOP
    But less competition for starts

Doesn't help signing him for 12 million and getting injured a week later

    Few updates from Ben Dinnery:

Evans [calf] "is still a worry for us," says Pulis. "I'd say Jonny will miss the game. There are no other injuries ahead of the game."

Eddie Howe confirms Bournemouth have a clean bill of health: "No-one is ruled out as we speak, we're pretty much okay."

Schlupp injury "is not so bad as we thought. Maybe too early for Bournemouth, but certainly okay for Sunderland."

Pochettino confirms Kane is okay "he trained well today" and will travel to Sunderland. "The same goes for Alderweireld and Rose."

George Friend [hamstring] is ruled out but Antonio Barragan has trained ahead of the game and comes into contention.

Lallana [lower leg laceration] has trained ahead of the game, but Nathaniel Clyne [bruised ribs] hasn't. "We have to wait and see" Firmino free to play against Chelsea - court date put back.

A scan has revealed Curtis Davies is likely to be out of action for around eight weeks because of a hamstring strain.

Phil Jones a priority for me to ship out now, rotation risk and a GW26 blank.

The status on the FPL site doesnt mean too much.

Last update I saw was that the manager had no timeline on it but expected to be "up to a month".

No way he is back this weekend I'd have thought.

Daniels misseds out after picking up a knee injury: "There is no serious damage [but] we're not sure how long he's going to be out." #AFCB

    Disaster of a signing

Rose will be checked today: "In a tackle he twisted his knee. After that I cannot say more, we need to look at it," said Pochettino. #COYS

I think Jones is the first centre back at United right now. He gets rested for cup games but plays all the league games.

The only game he has not started in the last 12 Premier league games was on December 31st where lots of players were rested as they played on the 26th and had another game on the 2nd January.

I'd be fairly surprised if Jones was dropped tonight, Bailly hasn't featured much since he returned from injury so I don't see him going straight into the team

Especially after him playing an hour for the reserves Monday.
