Hi all! We have been experiencing an issue on site where threads have been missing the latest postings. The platform host Vanilla are working on this issue. A workaround that has been used by some is to navigate back from 1 to 10+ pages to re-sync the thread and this will then show the latest posts. Thanks, Mike.

Opinions will differ but proving it was intentional is another matter.
Is a deliberate premeditated (given it's revenge for a perceived stamp) elbow any less violent?

Opinions may differ but no one will persuade me he didn't mean it, if you accidentally stood on someone's head your instinct would be of concern, your face would change.

Are you really asking if a flailing elbow is the same as stamp down on someone's head with football boots on? Seriously?

Not saying an elbow is ok, it's a thuggish act and he's deservedly got a 3 match ban as has anyone else who has been found guilty of an intentional elbow. Stamping on a person's head....completely different matter.

Anyway, not really a fantasy football argument so probably best to move on.

    OK.
I'm just a bit confused regarding the whole procedure.
Did Bournemouth appeal a three game ban?

They seem to be appealing the charge itself (of violent conduct)
I guess they're claiming it was accidental.

The fa hasn't said how long the ban will be but have indicated they don't feel the regular 3 game ban will be sufficient given the severity of the challenge.
So unless they can convince the fa that it was unintentional he'll automatically get 3 game ban with extra games likely to be added on (I'd imagine a 5 or 6 game ban in total)

I think the fact he didn't immediately go over and try apologise is a give away Mings meant it. He knew he's just stamped on someone's head .
If you do something like that by accident people are generally sorry over it.

The FA will serve a three-match suspension after accepting Zlatan's charge.

What is the story with Heaton? I asked about it in the Match Day Thread and got no answer. Anyone has any clue?

I presume if he's out, 'Pool mids become favourite options for captaincy!

He was sick. I'm sure he will be fine.

Im glad I held on making any transfers now. Need to figure out the smartest combination of transfers to set up for this week but more importantly the weeks ahead. With West Brom's fixtures to worsen there is no reason to consider him for some time now.

Just looking at it now, and the problem is that in reality it's Pedro that I want in to replace him.

Can't really think of anyone worth a punt on for 1 week.

    Same not for -4 anyway
    Damn it
With aguero and Sterling too I really have to think about this
Fraser is a good option but not for -4
May just go with 8 now

Pulis: "One or two looked a little bit tired last Saturday so we'll have a look at it and see if one or two need a little bit of a rest".
Might bring in josh king actually
    Jaysus ......

Double week aside, is Pedro better value than Sterling? I'm not convinced

They both have another DGW most likely
Chelsea could have 2 though if they make cup semi

I brought in Sterling, Sane and Aguero last week for the double. I'll be dumping Aguero for Kane, but not sure what to do with the other two as they both seem good value for the price. Awful run of fixtures though

So grateful that I haven't made that move. That's clearly off the cards now.

Times like this a leaked Liverpool lineup would be insanely valuable.

I don't know what inspired me to go looking at training pics last night before getting firmino in. Glad I did now.

Busts with a superb spot there on the training pics. Possibly saved a few round here....

Klopp:"Roberto is struggling. He felt something after the game, so he couldn't train until now. We need to wait a little bit more, then see"

Same here. Now I have to figure out how to get Mané instead, it was a nice neat transfer from Sterling but wasn't going to leave much in the bank.

Not sure, he went over on his ankle but was able to walk (albeit a bit gingerly) down the tunnel.
