Opinions may differ but no one will persuade me he didn't mean it, if you accidentally stood on someone's head your instinct would be of concern, your face would change.

Are you really asking if a flailing elbow is the same as stamp down on someone's head with football boots on? Seriously?

Not saying an elbow is ok, it's a thuggish act and he's deservedly got a 3 match ban as has anyone else who has been found guilty of an intentional elbow. Stamping on a person's head....completely different matter.

Anyway, not really a fantasy football argument so probably best to move on.

They seem to be appealing the charge itself (of violent conduct)
I guess they're claiming it was accidental.

The fa hasn't said how long the ban will be but have indicated they don't feel the regular 3 game ban will be sufficient given the severity of the challenge.
So unless they can convince the fa that it was unintentional he'll automatically get 3 game ban with extra games likely to be added on (I'd imagine a 5 or 6 game ban in total)

I think the fact he didn't immediately go over and try apologise is a give away Mings meant it. He knew he's just stamped on someone's head .
If you do something like that by accident people are generally sorry over it.

Im glad I held on making any transfers now. Need to figure out the smartest combination of transfers to set up for this week but more importantly the weeks ahead. With West Brom's fixtures to worsen there is no reason to consider him for some time now.

Just looking at it now, and the problem is that in reality it's Pedro that I want in to replace him.

I brought in Sterling, Sane and Aguero last week for the double. I'll be dumping Aguero for Kane, but not sure what to do with the other two as they both seem good value for the price. Awful run of fixtures though
