Wanyama had to pull out of the warmup and was removed from the bench today. Could lead to Spurs continuing the 4-2-3-1 even with Kane in the team and may see Son continue for his owners if they're willing to accept him at his price while no longer OOP.

He'll still play the same position as he has done. Kane will replace Janssen in that formation
Today was the first time Janssen and Son have started together in that formation since Kane's injury.

Valencia should be available for Anderlecht game apparently says Mourinho.

Whether he plays next PL game is debatable says me.

@BenDinnery: Jack Butland "feels ready" for a first-team return after playing for the U23s but admits "the next decision is now for the manager." #SCFC

Has anyone heard any news on pva,
Ive been keeping him with a view to the next few fixtures including the double gameweek,
But ideally I wanted him for this sat, its looking unlikely now

Same here. I'm massively regretting not getting rid of him a few weeks back as I think it's very unlikely he plays both games of the double.

Is Barkley able to play with a black eye?

Bilic "We're likely going to need both Andy and Jonathan [Calleri] on Saturday and they'll share the minutes on the pitch."

Is he ever fully fit ?

As a Geordie I was hoping he would be eager to go to town on Sunderland and was going to hold him. But hearing this now I will have to get in Ibra for the -4

Gabbiadini and Davis back in training ahead of Southampton's clash with Man City https://t.co/xlLEMwGi7G
Puel on Gabbiadini:“He is likely to come back into the squad & we'll see if he can start or perhaps come on in the second-half of the game".

Hughes: “We are delighted with where Butland is at now and he will get games before the end of the season”.
    Uh oh

Mourinho re Valencia - "Antonio has a problem, he can't play every game"

  • Registered Users, Registered Users 2 Posts: 33,659 ✭✭✭✭CSF

You have to feel for people who brought him in with DGWs in mind because he looked the most nailed on choice at the time.

I wonder how likely Shaw is to play both games in 34 given schedule and the lineup tonight.

Can't imagine Mourinho trusting him in a Manchester Derby.

So my dgw 34 defenders are Valencia and chambers
    It's going well so far
    Planning my hole
    So annoying

    Wii

Ok probably bring in mustafi after 34 now for Valencia

  • Registered Users, Registered Users 2 Posts: 33,659 ✭✭✭✭CSF

Chambers has been gone since GW25 though

Hard to believe he will come back in for the double and play both
    Probably play one
    Same with Valencia

  • Registered Users, Registered Users 2 Posts: 33,659 ✭✭✭✭CSF

Yeah I'd expect Valencia to play against City.

Can see Valencia,Young, Darmian and Shaw getting one game each in the double.
Bailly and Rojo are the only safe options imo.

See as soon as Jones and smalling got injured i said this
I also pointed out Valencia s travel time over int break and predicted he would indeed get his long awaited rest

    I then signed him anyway
    :(

Just looking at him. He has picked up 2 bonus in 3 of his last 6 games.

They conceded in one of them.

I think I'll sell brunt for bailly next week and then move Valencia on for mustafi or someone like that
A transfer I could have done without having to make

I haveto say Valencia did not look to be carrying any type of muscular injury last Night
Why won't JM just say what's up with him
    Annoying

Yeah agree. Has a lot of options in that position, better knowing he won't play all games now

If you're in the market for a nailed on RB with a couple of DGW's I know a little Portuguese chap who would fit the bill. :D

Any update on Firmino? If he's out I'm screwed already on a -8... might just hope for the best

@BenDinnery: Agnew on having a fully fit squad: "It’s great news for me, and gives me a real selection headache. That’s the way I’d rather have it." #UTB

    Chambers lives !!!!!!!!
Pity he is ineligible this week
Just back from injury can't see him being risked in both next week.....

    Wes Morgan hamstring gone
The centre half who has played last few games will be there for majority of season now
    He is decent as well

Did he not go off injured at HT?

Did he not go off injured at HT?

Thought it was tactical but maybe not
He went off with cramp at weekend so assumed that was a factor

Just trying to figure out the suspension rules tonight, I can see that accumulated yellow cards clear after the quarter final stage, but does the final yellow card tonight (Bailly would be one) make a player be out of the semi final first leg?

    Yes he would miss out
Khedeira was in same situation and he is suspended for 1st leg

In other news Andy Carrol is injured again :D
@BenDinnery: "The rest of the squad is good, too." However, Sam Byram is suspended following his red card "and we are without Andy Carroll." #WHUFC

Yeah just found the below, Bailly, Herrera and Mkhitaryan would all miss the semi final first leg (and therefore be much better options in GW35/36) with a yellow card tonight.

    Ah feck.
But I guess it's not the worst news as a King owner and my other keeper Jaku has a good fixture so I'll just bench Valdes.

Bed Davies owners look away now
Pochettino on Rose: "Arsenal (GW35), maybe. For Saturday, no. He's ok. He's still not with the group but he's at a very good level."

How has Davies been playing though. Seems unwise to just drop him with the team flying.

At the very best, Davies will be rotated with Rose. But in reality, Rose will probably be back in.

Like, Origi has been fine for Liverpool in Mané's absence. But if Mané was due to return, he's be back in the team.

    Rose is first choice.
