I think it's a question of how long.......

    "Gone" should be "fine"?
Yeah sorry that's what I meant

What is the story with Aguero?

    Do we stick or twist?

Aguero sticking and twisting is what got everybody in this mess in the first place.

Waiting for the twist when it turns out it's actually Jesus who is injured.

    Coutinho back in training

Expect an official update on Aguero tomorrow, but he's unlikely to feature in GW36 if scan results confirm an adductor tear. #MCFC

Rose still isn't back in full training. Back full training next week.

Aye, that's good enough for me I think cause I'm not sure how realistic 13+ DGWers is, he works well as an enabler.

Very heavily considering benching Cedric this week. When did I begin to hate DGWs so much?

    Rashford limps off

No way he is being risked against Arsenal

In the same boat. Have Yoshida, Stephens & Alonso starting with Simpson (MID) and Bavies (wham) on the bench. Thinking of playing Simpson ahead of Stephens.

    I'll bite.
He starts for me with Alonso and Bavies. (Blind benched cos DDG starts.)

David Silva completes a full training session with the group today as aims to shake off an injury in time to face Palace on Saturday. #MCFC
Think it's safe to assume aguero has not trained and the silence suggests to me he is out for a few weeks

Is this my team you're looking at? If so, thanks a mill for taking the time.

Howe: “Benik will definitely miss out. I can’t say right now if he’ll play again this season".

    So King up front.
And Stanislas (4.6m) should play number 10. I think people with BB should consider him over Capoue for a cheap mid.

Charlie Austin playing for reserves tonight so gabbi safe this week
    But not next

I don't think Gabbi is safe in any situation given how early he was subbed off.

#PEP: Aguero is out. Hopefully he'll be back for Leicester, but this game no. #cityvpalace #mcfc

    Damn
He could still crucify me in 37

I can't justify keeping him at his price when he might not even be back for next week.
He's gone for Jesus for me.

Kind of makes both Jesus and Aguero unappealing options now. If Aguero was guaranteed back for Leicester I would strongly consider holding him.

I can't afford to use up a transfer on a player who may not play though so I think I'll give Jesus a miss.

Aguero out for Kane seems the obvious choice for me, but I already have Alli and Eriksen - would the 3 top Spurs players be overkill? No Chelsea cover at the moment so Costa is tempting.

Very difficult decisions. Stones' continued absence is a real ball ache as well. Can deal with him being out of this GW but really hope he's back for GW 37

Yeah, Jesus or Kane is a huge question right now.

Kun to Jesus leaves enough funds for Gabbi to Costa for next week

    Tempted !!

  • Registered Users Posts: 8,711 ✭✭✭keano_afc

No idea what to do now. I have Kane, so maybe Costa. Jesus isn't worth a one week punt if Aguero is back next week.

I'd say Jesus may start both dgw37 games anyway. I reckon he'll prove good value anyway over the last 3 gameweeks. Funds freed up is a bonus

True, that extra £4m is worth throwing a party for at this stage of the season.

I have the same dilemma (bar only having Alli) and think I'm going Aguero to Costa. Will hold off on the Jesus transfer and see if there is any update on Sergio next week

Just about the Aguero vs Jesus debate.

Even if Aguero is back for the DGW, can't Jesus just start alongside him?

He can, but the 2 up front didn't work well against Middlesbrough so Pep would likely be looking at finding a new way to make it work.

Was it really down to these 2 or the fact Pep did not play (start) Sané & Sterling on the wings?

I think those 2 things are connected but you're still right. Can Pep find a way to play Sane, Sterling, Aguero, and Jesus in the same team while maintaining the possession football he's been so successful with?

    He just won't play Sterling
    Problem solved :D

I'd be fairly certain Jesus will start the last 4 games.

The way he spoke of him, the impact he could of had, he'll be looking to get him heavily involved to gain as much PL experience for next season as possible. No brainer he plays, been so danger & Guardiola lamented City's killer punch

Ye its why I held off on aguero last week which unfortunately cost me. I wasn't sure if Jesus would start last week but was very confident he would start this week.

No sign of Kompany in training yesterday.
    Aguero and Stones trained.
