Hi all! We have been experiencing an issue on site where threads have been missing the latest postings. The platform host Vanilla are working on this issue. A workaround that has been used by some is to navigate back from 1 to 10+ pages to re-sync the thread and this will then show the latest posts. Thanks, Mike.

    Lads,

I've spotted that Lidl have a wet and dry vacuum on special tomorrow. http://www.lidl.ie/en/Offers.htm?action=showDetail&id=42468

I was thinking of getting it, mainly for the car interiors as I don't have any. As I've never used one before or have any knowledge of them, I'm asking is it worth getting?

I know there are going to be queries about where replacement bags, filters etc can be found and it something I'm hoping that can be sorted easily....

Or would other ones be a better buy for an occasional/hobby user rather than a professional level one?

They're class. Have one for years and years and It's perfect and very tough. One thing that we did was buy a wet/dry filter on amazon. As it comes you need to change the filter depending on if you're using it for wet or dry stuff. With the new filter it can do everything without the hassle of changing it.

That's good to hear DZ. I got it anyway mainly for use on carpets, seats, etc. All I need now is a proper brush to work in the fabric cleaners into the carpet & seats (may have to hit Detailing Shed later).

We tried it on a wet corner of the sealed concrete floor of the "outdoor room" (don't ask!). We were impressed with the water and crap it lifted off the ground.
