15mins back to the peloton, looks like a nice easy run in for team sky

Did cav or any of the sprinters quit?

Nope. The only DNS today was Jurgen van den Broeck, who has a broken shoulder. He crashed yesterday but managed to finish the stage.

Nice to see Dan with a strong team riding for him, this might be on for him today.

I'd imagine it was Aru for drafting behind the team car and too many sticky bottles while he was fighting to get back to the peloton. The TV coverage stayed on him for pretty much his entire race back to the peloton.

Aru took a bottle off the car to use as a slingshot, dumped the bottle immediately without even taking a sip.
I think he was also getting his bike "worked on" for a long time without actually doing anything to it.

Etixx have a man in the breakaway too (Keisse), will he be of any use to Dan later on I wonder? (No one from Sky, Movistar, or Orica in the breakaway - not sure if they have anyone in the chasing group.)

It was Gerrans for Orica. Looked nasty. Thought 2 sky riders went down

Greipel is still in the breakaway group at the front! That's some going for a big man like him.

I've seen the peleton slow to wait for the Yello jersey before, but never the team of the yellow jersey. That was odd.

    they/them/theirs

theres a serious lack of chateaux porn this year, its all churches and abbeys

I'm not sure about slowing up the front of the peleton on that occasion. Froome wasn't affected by the crash and all Etixx previous hard work is undone. They should've carried on. All part of bike racing IMO

How many bikes does Aru want?

Thank God Cancellara is gone after this season, why the f*ck is he ordering them to slow it down. Ruined today's action later on.

    Who's gonna win lads?

Bertjan Lindeman and Sep Vanmarcke (Lotto-Jumbo)
    Stef Clement (IAM)
Serge Pauwels and Daniel Teklehaimanot (DiData)
André Greipel and Thomas De Gendt (Lotto-Soudal)
Bryan Coquard and Sylvain Chavanel (Direct Energie)
    Iljo Keisse (Etixx-Quick Step)
    Chris Anker Sørensen (Fortuneo-Vital Concept)
Dani Navarro and Cyril Lemoine (Cofidis)

I'm hoping it's Daniel Teklehaimanot as he's in my Velogames team :)
(Plus he does have the climbing ability to do so)
