Opening a bank account from outside of Ireland

I am an Irish citizen but I have not lived in Ireland for the past 6 years. Do any of the banks in Ireland allow you to open up an account online or by phone. I have an Irish address where I can have cards sent to. Thanks for any help.

You can open it online but you need proof of address for money laundering purposes etc.
