Hi all! We have been experiencing an issue on site where threads have been missing the latest postings. The platform host Vanilla are working on this issue. A workaround that has been used by some is to navigate back from 1 to 10+ pages to re-sync the thread and this will then show the latest posts. Thanks, Mike.

    Hi all
I have not renewed my club subscription as u have taken a break from shooting for a while due to other commitments.

My firearms licence is up is there any firearms dealers that would store it for me until I have time to take up shooting again.

Or would it be possible to let a firearms dealer try and sell it, anyone know of any firearm dealer that would do this.

Some dealers will store firearms, but for a fee. Some may also agree to take the guns to sell, but again for a fee.

As long as you don't mind the fee, and agree on the price before doing anything, then it should be simple enough.

If your licenses are up shortly, or now, then get this done asap. When you have the guns in storage take pictures of them and stick up adverts here too. Will speed up any sale if that is the route you are taking.

Would it not be a cheaper option to just renew your license. It will cost you €80 for 3 years which I imagine would be a lot cheaper than paying storage on it.

+1 to this, dealers got stung the first time around with the 3yr Licence when lads didn't want to pay the €80 having previously been paying €6 for the vermin Licence. A ton of firearms were handed into dealers for storage (for free) until they decide they wanted the guns back.
Since then you see dealers charging for storage. Down around me it varies from€10-20 per month.

Easier to just pay the Licence.
