Overdraft facility fee of €30

    I've just had this charge applied to my current account. I'm not sure I've ever gone into overdraft so this is unwanted. When I'm low on funds I use my credit card and pay it off on time each month. Can I have the charge refunded and the facility cancelled please?

    Thanks for getting in touch. 

    As we don't have account access here on Boards.ie, we would be unable to cancel the overdraft facility on your account. 

    If you're registered for Banking 365 Online, you can request this by selecting 'Online Service Desk' and 'Ask a Question' and a rep will be happy to process this request for you. 

    Alternatively, you can contact BOI Direct on 0818 365 365 / 00353 1 4044000. Reps are available 8am - 12 midnight Monday to Friday and 9am - 6pm Saturday, Sunday and Bank/Public Holidays.
