    Please help !

Following on from 2 actual reading bills with Bord Gais Energy
I recently received an estimated bill.

My account had been in Credit for quite some time and the credit was increasing with each bill. I was due a good refund.

However when I myself provided an actual meter reading my consumption increased from there estimate of 78238 to 80549 = 2311kwh

This represents 50% of my annual consumption and I can't for the sack of me know why.
Nothing has changed at home other than a new laptop and lawnmower.
Tumble Dryer / immersion / Boiler is used only on occasion due to summer months.

How could this be ? Any ideas ?

Did you transpose a number in your own reading? How were you in significant credit if the meter was being read?
