Ongoing discussion in the local with mixed answers so can anyone hear give a definite answer

Can a player play for a Tuesday team and a Wednesday team if both teams belong to the same league ?

In the NCDL? No, you can sign the reg form for as many teams as you want on either tuesday or wednesday but once you sign a matchcard that is the team you are tied to. Other leagues may differ but that's how it is in NCDL.

In short once you've thrown a dart for a team you are tied to that team and can't play for anyone else. Tuesday/Wednesday is irrelevant.

    Thanks, that's what we thought.

My husband plays for a Tuesday team and a Wednesday team want to sign him too, he told them it's not possible because he already plays for the Tuesday side but they're insistent he can play for both.

    110% he can't

It's 1 team you sign for. If that team puts him on their signup sheet and play him, they will likely be disqualified from the league or have point deductions for essentially cheating by bringing in another teams player.

If you could do that, pubs with 2 teams could stack their second team once they got promoted to the Tuesday.
