Hi all! We have been experiencing an issue on site where threads have been missing the latest postings. The platform host Vanilla are working on this issue. A workaround that has been used by some is to navigate back a page or two to re-sync the thread and this will then show latest posts. Thanks, Mike.

Took one out for a test ride today from Joe Duffys.
Serious bit of kit and by heck does it move up through the gears.Had it out on a test ride for about 2 hours.
A comfy bike to ride at a civil pace, and then it turns into a demon when you twist the throttle.
Quickshifter is very slick and instantly upshifts.Standard exhaust is also quite loud too. Also alot less wind buffeting when compared to the R1.:)

Yeah, if I ever manage to get my wife to let me get a third bike, that's one I will definitely be looking at.
I had the S1000r has a loaner when the GS was in for a service and it's also a very fun bike.

There is a 131 (I think) for sale at MuttsNuts in Leixlip.

I have no doubt they are an amazing bike but I just can't warm to the "shark fin" side fairing.

How much is Joe charging on the road?

Savage bike in fairness. When it's time for the K6 to go that'll be the only machine to replace it with.

It is indeed. Different exhaust on the newer and the lights are other way around

Ah, so that was you yesterday. I was wondering why the bike was parked like that on the road near the airport. :D More used to people parking the other side of the road.

Looks like a nice piece, especially on good roads.

I still love my GS though.

Yep. Thought it unusual place to stop a bike, so thought you might have had a spill or something. Never hurts to just wave and check. :D

Haha, nice one. You're worse than me for test riding things and doing me nut straight away. Well wear.
