Hi all! We have been experiencing an issue on site where threads have been missing the latest postings. The platform host Vanilla are working on this issue. A workaround that has been used by some is to navigate back from 1 to 10+ pages to re-sync the thread and this will then show the latest posts. Thanks, Mike.

So basically as title suggests the warning light has come on. From my limited knowledge would I be right in saying this could be any number of things?

Am I better leaving the car for now and bringing to my mechanic on Monday or would it be ok to drive, bearing in mind there is no noticeable difference in her in terms of performance? I really need the car for work today and tomorrow and will be pure hassle coping without; but then again I don't want to cause any serious damage especially if it is DPF related...

Will be letting the car sit for an hour, to see if the light still comes on. Otherwise will probably make alternative arrangements

The General rule is Orange light - ok to drive, get it seen as soon as you can. Red light - Don't drive.

So you should be ok to drive, get it seen to or have someone with VCDS scan it.

Cheers. I know people drive around with warning lights all the time; but my OCD will be in overdrive until Monday :pac:

I had similar on my 10 A4 and got it scanned. It needed a new emissions sensor (10 min job) and was covered under warranty.
