Hi all! We have been experiencing an issue on site where threads have been missing the latest postings. The platform host Vanilla are working on this issue. A workaround that has been used by some is to navigate back from 1 to 10+ pages to re-sync the thread and this will then show the latest posts. Thanks, Mike.

Car boot lock won't fully engage

    Hey, i just noticed that my car boot won't lock.
    I can manually engage the mechanism. It just wont fully engage when it strikes the metal piece at the bottom.

    Does this look like something i could fix myself?

    Unless you have had a rear tap that has bent the floor or boot lid it would appear that the lock arm catch is closed not allowing it catch on receiver

    If I'm correct you just need to use a screw driver to put locking arm catch in open position and it will work normally

    You probably bent something. Probably best to get a mechanic for this one, unless you can actually see what in the mechanism or boot is bent.

    looks like the springs on both sides of the mechanism have come off
