You'll get an honest appraisal of the film.

If I get around to watching it that is. So far, I'm not that pushed.

But, my review notwithstanding, it's still always going to be a #notmysolo job, where Ehrenreich is concerned.

If it's a good film, it's a good film. But, I'll probably always feel that it should have been a good film...

They cut the lines about running scams as a kid and being kicked outta the flight academy.

Maybe there was too much running down of his character or establishing him as a down-and-out in the first trailer.

Just remembering the rogue one fiasco. It’s the same trailer cos they are probably still editing and don’t want to misrepresent the film so the ones involved are all locked shots whereas any new ones might potentially be cut.

I liked him in Community but so far he makes it feel like Han Solo is going to be a secondary character in a film named after him.

Seems someone in disney is plagiarising an artists work and he’s dead right to take them up on it. They’d sue you into oblivion if you did it on them. See attached pic

Not sure tbh? That kind of work Is usually contracted out so they’d commission him effectively. Who owns the copyright either himself or Sony, both probably have grounds to sue. It’s a blatant rip off.

Don't really see how Disney are to blame for the poster thing. They farmed out the work to a design firm who f*cket it up.

It could be left in until the very last minute as a means of reminding people of the gravity of what they're working on.

I doubt it'll be in the final cut, especially if it's not in Rogue One (?)

After a few watches.. there might be a spoiler in it.

It looks like Chewie has a love interest. It looks like it'll be all the feels. Then there's a potential death scene... and earlier on Chewie grabs a someone and smashed them head first into the ground. So that could be one of the plots.. with the post love-interest death rampage of Chewie shown out of order

I dunno, it looks fine. Given all that's happened behind the scenes it'll be a minor triumph if the final product is competent, structured and enjoyable - so that's the metric I'm going by at this stage. I'm not expecting miracles here, and no better man to get a job professionally done than Ron Howard.

Definitely don't feel any more enthused about Ehrenreich's performance - based on those small snippets it feels terribly flat, and it's arguably worrying that the bulk of the trailers have featured everyone else EXCEPT the titular character. Donald Glover looks & sounds the business though; his casting always felt like a stroke of genius.
