I'm thinking of using one of these:

The important thing is that I can only use a camera that's a similar shape to what I've shown above....I can't find a decent wireless IP cam that will give 1080p in the same "shape" but I'm open to suggestions as to how to do this more easily.

I don't think the powerline adapter will work like that.
Maybe if it were an IP camera & powered locally.

Yeah...thinking about it,the balun just allows the signal from the camera to travel along the cat5....

I can't find an IP camera small enough so I might look for a transmitter/receiver instead....
