I have a similar problem with a Nissan Patrol, which actual passed its DOE test but was subsequently advised by local garage / body shop that
chassis was in a dangerous state, and should be taken off the road until repaired. Contacted Nissan but only got through to reception, any one
out their got a name that I can contact or better still a contact email.

I have an 08 navara that just passed the doe, having some problems getting a trade in on it, any idea if I am likely to get anything off Nissan?

I would advise don't drive it. Its not safe. Contact your local Nissan dealer and sort from there.

From previous posts here it's obvious that this is a design / manufacturing flaw - as advised ring Nissan & see what offer they make.

No they won't. Its not worth trying to fix and chassis type has been finished so none to replace.

Nissan will buy the vehicle back but need a lot of pushing to do so.

No, been speaking with them today, they just want them off the road, 2 choices, take the cash offer or the get the equivalent off a Nissan vehicle

It has been, it's been all over UK newspapers, social media and irish farming journal.

I have just read the article in the Irish farmers journal, I have already spoke to Nissan Ireland, been offered 8k for my 07 Navara, that's was the only deal, nothing about chassis replacement or replacement unless it's a new one where they will give you 10k off.

That's a fair offer I think. I would not take any replacement off them. Have a look at a Dmax for a replacement with the cash. Not as comfy as yours probably but there is no end to them. They are the modern day answer to the hilux of yesteryear in terms of reliability and durability.
