Wii U without Gamepad Controller

    Hi

Ive sourced a very reasonably priced, second hand Wii U on ebay but the catch is it does not include any accessories such as the gamepad controller. Does anyone know if I could get away with playing games with the other controllers such as the classic one etc? Are their any games or console functions that require mandatory gamepad controller functionality? I dont mind missing the second screen once game works. Thanks

    Regards

I would not buy a Wii U without a gamepad under any circumstances. There are some games that require the gamepad like Star Fox Zero. Also, you need the gamepad to navigate functions like Wii U System Settings. Be patient and you'll find a good deal with everything included.

Ok thanks. Ive read ob various forums that system settings/online facilities have been updated to work with non gamepad controllers but if a game is unplayable without gamepad its not worth it.
