I posted this on 11th and got no reply from any eir representative - any chance someone from eir could reply now

Hi - Quick question in relation to Eir sport

just upgraded my Eircom account to include broadband - due to be activated next week which includes Eir Sport free.

I have Eir sport annually package paid in April € 225. If I cancel this now do I get refund as it is only 4 months into 12 month deal? If not can I cancel my subscription before April that I pay for & then use my 'free' subscription through my broadband package if I have not used it until then?.

Adam, with FTTH installed, besides a fiber BB modem what other component will I be supplied with if I op for eirTV.  i.e do I get a set-top box or is my TV connected directly to the modem.    Your sales/call-centre people couldn't explain....
    Hi,

Thanks for getting in touch. When you order eir Vision, you will get a technician out to install this service. You will receive a set top box which the technician will have with him when installing this and it will connect to your modem through a LAN cable. our multi-room boxes can connect to the modem wirelessly.

    Hi there,

I sincerely apologise for the delay with my response. I'm afraid I'd be unable to check on this for you from here. If you give our eir Sport department a ring on 0818203040 they will be able to give you more information on this.

    Apologies for the inconvenience.

    I have EIR Broadband.
One of my Sky Boxes has Eirsport activated (I did this online).

How do I activate Eirsport on my second Skybox?

I logged into my.eir.ie but I cannot see how/where to enter the second card number.

I do know that if you are adding Eirsport to a Skybox(es) for the first time on the Eirsport website,
you can enter two card numbers at the same time, if you wish.

You have to ring and do it on the phone - at least that is what I was told to do and it was successful.

All you need to do now Adam is to pass the good news on to one of your colleagues who was quite insistent in the past (both in public and in private) that an active Sky sub was required to view the Eir & BT Sports pack.

Btw thanks for clearing that up :)

And maybe a sticky topic at the top of the forum here :)

I was surprised how quickly my card came.

Only had the phone call about it on Tuesday , arrived today .

Give credit where its due....that is a fantastic service in anyone's book.

Its just a pity that the issue was tainted by the falsehoods posted in this forum. Like a lot of talk to forums its hard to blame the reps at times as they are only relaying what they've been told and that being the case then their colleagues in other departments in Eir are letting them down big time

    Hi Guys,

I'm currently with Meteor for mobile broadband and have a mobile phone contract (pay as you go) with another supplier.

I don't have a landline and have no intention of getting one.

I'd be interested in switching to eir if you lads can offer me a bundle for mobile phone (or 2 mobile phones) (SIM only) plus mobile broadband plus eir sport.

Do you offer such a package?   If so, how much please?

    Ta.

I also need assistance in registering for eirSport. When attempting to subscribe to eirSport, my Eir username and password, which I can successfully log into my Eir with, are not recognised on the Eir Sport subscription web page. Can somebody help please?

What's Eir's policy on watching sports both at home and outside the home on mobile?

Is it only 1 login allowed stream at a time?

Intended usage will only ever be 2 devices concurrent.

Is it possible to get Eir sports on a sky box without a sky subscription? Tried with an old sky card but did not work, can eir provide a card to allow for this?
