High heels

Hi

I am not great at walking or sticking high held, however I am quiet short and would love to get a good pair that is as comfortable as high heels can!!

I would like a closed toe and will need a strap. As I am small I believe it's best not to have the step at the ankle.

Any recommendations of brand etc as these will probable be my one and only heels that I will hopefully wear I am not too bored if they are on the more expensive side

LK Bennett shoes are very well made and comfortable, they make classic designs and some of their mid height shoes sound like just what you're after except that they don't generally have a strap.
Clarks shoes are known for comfort but tend towards blocky heels, which may not be what you're after. These are quite cute and the strap is in the right place to avoid the 'cankles' look http://www.clarks.ie/product/26115757/

Try New Look. I'm short and wear heels a lot, especially for work. I find that their shoes a quite comfortable and reasonably priced.
There's a huge selection on the website - you would need to whittle it down a bit!
