Cyclocross bike brands with cantilever brakes?

hi all,
just sold my road bike and am waiting on another race bike to be delivered.

Am on the lookout for CX bikes with canti's (not disc brakes) and at least 105. Im thinking of canti's as i could use it for winter road training as well as CX and some off road stuff.

Does anyone know of any others?


Also, in terms of sizing should one size down for a cyclocross bike or go with your road bike size?

I was thinking i would have to buy another wheelset for road use as well as having the CX wheelset but it might be a runner if the cost wasn't too much. I like the look of the Cannondale CAADX.

Most or at least a good number of brands only do disc cross bikes now. Worth looking for some clearance deals on 2015 or older new bikes. Planet X always good for this.
Id recommend going down 1 size on your road bike sizing.

nice bike. i was hoping something around the grand mark. 105 11 speed would be great.

I am biased as I got a Stevens recently and love it. This has 105 and I expect being a LBS, there would be a bit of flex in the price.

Where are you based though? There was a CAADX on the adverts subforum that would take cantis only a few weeks ago.

Cyclesuperstore also have the CAADX and if you are a loyalty member the range is from 1090 to 1400.

just had a look at the Adverts and its gone. shame as a 58 would suit me (60 in road bike, XL in Canyon). My LBS deals in Cannondales so im gonna talk nice to him and see could he match Evans price of 1079 for the Caadx 105. just need to sell a MTB first!
