I won't go into full details but bank are really messing about releasing approved funds of 30k.
We have funds tied up but will take a week to release them from savings.
This question is more out of curiosity.
Is there any facility that any financial institution will give us quick to close this and we'll pay them next week.
We're frustrated and want bank removed from equation

Sorry I don't quite understand. Are you saying you are looking for a mortgage worth 30K that the bank are delaying on or that the bank aren't realising a mortgage because 30K of your deposit is not immediately accessible?

No sorry if I wasn't clear.
    They are completely separate.
Originally we decided to take out a mortgage of 30k.
Now the bank for a variety of internal reasons (nothing to do with us) are taking ages to release the funds.
It so happens we could come up with the 30k ourselves from savings and remove the bank from the equation.
It's just that we don't have immediate access to savings.
Back to my original question which I know is a long shot.
Is there any quick avenue open to us to allow us to get 30k to the solicitor and close the sale and then repay next week.

Ah ok, there are pleny of banks that will give you a personnal loan of 30K and up to about 75K. The process for these are faster than morthage specific loans.
The fact you have this money ready to pay back shortly also helps, although it would mean the bank would not make much money in interest.

Have you a credit union account? They can be quite flexiable and also quite quick to approve (less than a week), especially with provable funds. Have you gone to a specific financial advisor? they could have better ways to do this.
