Hi all! We have been experiencing an issue on site where threads have been missing the latest postings. The platform host Vanilla are working on this issue. A workaround that has been used by some is to navigate back from 1 to 10+ pages to re-sync the thread and this will then show the latest posts. Thanks, Mike.

Long story short. Getting married abroad. Got all paperwork together. Sent to church. Church sent the abroad with incomplete address, no return address, and not registered post. Church abroad haven't recieved them. Almost 2 months now since posting and no sign of them.

Absolutely livid at the fact they were sent like this.

Trying hard to call places to find them but running out of options.

Anyone else ever been in this situation and , if so, did you get the papers back and how????

Wedding will go ahead anyway, the issue is such sensitive paperwork being handled in such a careless disrespectful manner.

If the papers are gone, you'll need to get them redone. I'd say go the Bishop of the Diocese where you live and explain what happened. Ask him to assign someone else to do you papers.
Incredibly bad form for someone to send off papers without checking the info and registering it.

Cheers. Have already been tld by priest he will sort it - possibly on account of my having said he'd better as he'd lost them.

Advice to anyone out there getting married abroad via the church - MAKE SURE THEY GIVE YOu THE PAPERS AND REGISTER THEM YOURSELF.

    Better again, courier them.

What is MOST annoying is the fact they have not ONCE even bothered their behinds to phone us. We have had to do all the calling and searching and calling them.

Disgusted with the whole thing now.

Legal action will follow if identity theft or postponement happen.
