Toyota corolla 1998 1.3 power steering belt

    I have the 4efe 1.3 engine and I need to change the power steering belt, how do I loosen the old one off!?!

    Slacken off the bolt and lock nut below the alternator to release tension on the belt

    I changed the power steering belt last week and all was fine. I changed the alternator belt 2 days ago and now the power steering is quite stiff. I've checked the fluid and it's good as is the belt tension. Any suggestions?
