I smoke Marlboro Gold Beyond a lot of places don't have them but I usually can find a place fairly easily. I asked in a shop today and when they didn't have them I said I'd leave it, but the shopkeeper started suggesting other brands really trying to make the sale. I told him that I didn't like anything but Gold Beyond. Then the shopkeeper told me that he heard they had been discontinued. Was he just lying to make a sale or are they really going to be gone? Has anyone heard about this?

tl;dr Shopkeeper claims my brand of smokes is discontinued, I'm not sure if he was lying to make a sale or telling the truth.
