Had it a few times, can get it in a few places in Dublin. Don’t think it’s all that great.

Wicked Vicar Smiling Pickle - the special kombucha, sage and mustard blend. Quite bitter but the perfect beverage with a roast beef on rye sandwich.

I'm amazed at where you all find these things.

    It would be my undoing.

Sierra Nevada Life and Limb. It's a strong ale brewed with birch and maple syrups. It's rich and sweet, but not in a cloying way and it's got a surprisingly light mouthfeel. It's like a brown ale on steroids as much as anything. It's got a kick, 10.2%, but you really wouldn't suspect it.

The other night I had a Lervig/North Brew Co Nitro Hot Chocolate Imperial Milk Stout. It was pretty good, but I possibly was expecting better. Massive hit of chocolate when you smelled it, but it didn't translate to the taste. It was chocolatey, but not as much as it promised. It felt boozier than its 10%, and I definitely got a bit of a buzz from it as it comes in a 500ml can, which is probably a bit too big for the beer it is tbh.

    I see O'Briens sell it at €3.75 for 440ml.

    Is it very sweet?

    More.

A nice full bodied stout. Leann follain if you want a lower abv, Brooklyn chocolate stout for higher. You'd need something stouty to stand up to the richness of a nice whisky.

I love having a few Leann Follain with whiskey, especially during winter months
