I love the reversing camera. Also the touch screen stereo with the car data.
    Folding wing mirrors.
Does anyone use the app connect features on their cars?

When buying a car I look for the following

    Auto gearbox
    Auto lights and wipers
Heated seats + electric memory settings
Estate type car, makes better for moving stuff, or jeep , suv
Aux imput for music and bluetooth for phone (if i can get music played over bluetooth then even better)
Infomat type system in dash is nice to play with for car details / sat nav etc.
Nice set of factory alloys (dont have to be any major size once they fit the car nicely)
    Cruise control
    Sunroof (paranromic or not )
    Electric windows and mirrors
Arm rests front and back if possible
    Cup holders are very important.
    Parking sensors

And most importantly, Not an audi.

This is a thread for musing over nice features, not an opportunity for you to poo on people's choices.

I actually don't want a lot of fancy "fluffy" stuff on a car. For instance, I don't get the point of sunroofs, reversing cameras etc. I have auto wipers and auto headlights on my current car and I don't really care for them. They're fine, but they don't quite come on at the same trigger point as when I'd prefer to switch them on.

Things that are essential for me are

    (1) Bluetooth integration for handsfree driving
    (2) Cruise control for easier motorway driving
    (3) Aircon - more to help manage humidity than to keep the car cool
    (4) Steering wheel mounted controls
    (5) Inbuilt GPS - very handy to have it inbuilt into car, rather than mounting a GPS or phone somewhere
    (6) Leather

I have door handle lights on my current car, and they've actually quite grown on me, even though they're nearly completely superfluous. They just look really well.

You'd probably want to change that nowadays to Quality Leather, some "leather" on new cars nowadays would actually put you off.

Ah, the old saying, sure he'd have an agrument with himself comes to mind.

I can drive also - driving 25 years and never as much as a tip!

I dont need the camera, but its handy to back into tight spaces.
