Hi all! We have been experiencing an issue on site where threads have been missing the latest postings. The platform host Vanilla are working on this issue. A workaround that has been used by some is to navigate back from 1 to 10+ pages to re-sync the thread and this will then show the latest posts. Thanks, Mike.

Wedding Sand - Where to get?

    Been searching forums and online but struggling to get an answer. I am looking for somewhere to get sand to be used as part of sand ceremony (pouring different coloured sands into a vase/jar). Where do people get this? I want a choice of few different colours. Preferably around Dublin if possible.

    Hiya,

    I got married in April and got my sand and vase from the online shop in weddingsonline.ie. Loads of different colours to choose from and delivery was really fast.

    Oh that's strange, must be only recently taken down.

    You can get the similar vases and sand on eBay, just watch where you're ordering from in case postage is expensive.

    There's also a few online shops based here that have the vases.

    we got our vases in ikea - they were doing little ones for 1euro each! And then a tall fancy bottle in Dealz. The sand we got in an art shop in town - loads of different colours. Can't remember the name of it for the life of me - will ask himself. But it was cheaper than anywhere else.

    Knew himself would remember!

    Got the vase (a quirky rose gold and glass hexagonal thingy) on AliExpress and the sand in Lidl - more like coppery and gold grains that you'd put in a pot pourri - it ended up looking cool
