Llama in Clonskeagh

OK folks, very random one here! I was out driving the other day & I passed the AIB Bank on Clonskeagh Road heading towards city center. Just after the bank on the same side of the road is a large derelict house with big walls & a large gate. It has been in a bad state of repair for some time now & sometimes people parked their cars there to go the bank.

Anyway I was driving past the other day & I saw a Llama in the grounds of the house along with a few goats. Anyone know what the story is here as I am fairly sure Clonskeagh is not the normal habitat for Llamas!

The building is called Wynnstay House. It was a magnificent estate in its prime.

About 15-20 years ago, it was the headquarters for Gypsum Industries.

Then a property developer bought it, but I heard that he went into NAMA and didn't have the requisite cash to develop the site.

Since then, it has fallen into ruin. The local Residents Association are constantly fighting the County Council about its state of disrepair.

I will ask my Dad tonight if he knows anything about llamas on the site. He lives reasonably close.
