My BBC red button is not working today so I've had to manually tune in the 9 BBC Olympic channels via the sky box.

The BBC Red Button has been disabled for markets outside the UK, allegedly because of licencing issues with the IOC.
There's a thread on it over in the Satellite forum:

That'd explain it alright. Luckily the freqs for manual tuning via the sky box are available.

Is that the same Mexican rider at the back who has been on the rivet for the last 2 hours? He is absolutely swinging like a barn door every time they go back there

No probs getting any of the BBC channels in my free to air sat box. That whole geographic restriction with SKY is a cop. Their beam is UK and Ireland (and has to be) so they know people in Ireland watch the channels.

What's left and how's it going?

  • Registered Users Posts: 6,561 ✭✭✭Eamonnator

    118kms to go.
6 in a break at about 5 minutes.
Cross wind has just broken the proton in pieces.

All the Brits are in first chasing group.
Roche and Martin have missed the boat.

Looks like this "Pave " section is causing a good few issues with Chain Drops etc .

The two guys who were doing it on RTE 2 earlier - Declan Quigley and PJ Nolan I think

Serious trouble or is it coming back together?

BOOOOOM! Split has happened although it might still come back; the Czech team went ballistic on the cobbles and it effectively blew it apart like at Arenberg.
Dan and Nico were caught out but they should get back in.
This course is insane! 120km of Paris Roubaix followed by 120km of the Dolomites.

Nico made the cut to the front group
