remove supporting wall and install RSJ/stud wall

    I am looking to remove a supporting wall upstairs in my house as part of enlarging a bedroom. Plan is to
    • remove existing wall
    • I'm assuming an RSJ will be needed, wall is 3m long and standard height (7 foot or so) to enlarge the room
    • build a partition wall in a new location
    Ballpark what should I be budgeting for this?

    5k after all works are made good and the rooms are back to normal.
    Load bearing wall at first floor level usually means the roof is bearing into it so pay special attention.
