Just came here to ask the same thing.
Redirected to advanced search but even when that is used it doesn't give a result.

Hey folks, I was just coming along to post that Search is back in business, one of the search DB machines had a moment of self doubt early this morning, but we've reassured it that it is indeed a Solr search machine and not a Pokémon...
