Thanks Guys went with the Amazon Basics (Got 5!) one it seems to have got a good write up.

Based on my experience of AmazonBasics cables, getting 5 is good idea.

These haven't been shipped until the 4th is there another cable and plug you could recommend ?

Apart from the Apple ones, not really.

I mean, the Amazonbasics cables are great for the price. My point was just that the quality control ain't great so having backups is a good idea.

Thanks for that - the Apple ones seem to have deteriorated in quality I find.
