    Hi all
    Finances have changed and I have to cut out my shellac manicures. No biggie!
    3 years of salon nails and now there's loads of gel effect polishes/top coats available in the shops.
    But has anyone any recommendations?
    What are the best brands?
    What, if any, will last 14 days?
    I see essence, catrice, rimmel all have some options.can't afford to buy multiples so hoping to make a good initial purchase.
    Any reviews?

    Ps I usually get a gel layer under my shellac and I've tried buffing, foil and acetone to remove and I've literally only starched the surface. Any hints to avoid having to pay for removal in a salon
