I'm guessing it'll be similarly priced to Ticknock which is I think €35 for front suspension bikes and €45 for front & rear.

Bringing your own bike they're planning on charging €5 entry and uplifts are €25 for the day.

Is all that land from the top of the drop off circle where they built the fence private? I thought there was public access there as well?

Just curious about the €5 charge for using them if it's a public right of way.

I will happily pay the €5/€25 myself just curious?

All the land east of that new fence is their own afaik, they just let people use it. That said the Giants Grave is further down at the edge of the forest and I think there's public access to that as it's an ancient tomb. I guess they'll but in a stile or something at that gap at the top.

Would have thought that you would make sure that you could get insurance before starting an expensive build? The recent tragedy in BPI probably hasn't helped.
Hopefully they will get it sorted and opened soon.

    what happened at BPI?

Anyone got any interest in starting a facebook page for meeting up here when it opens or in Ticknock? E.g. Dublin Mountian MTB or something like that.

Was up there today. It's opening on the 22th of July
These are two pictures of the main sign that greets you when you come in from Ticknock.
Looks like it'll be a great place.

I seem to be coming across more of them. BPI was full of it in sections but they seem to be removing it in places.

They use it as the trails get thorn up pretty quickly in bike parks.
