Not a bad day really here near Tralee, bright spells and cloud rolling by with bits of rain from time to time but not much around Tralee. Heavier showers late afternoon and much cloudier and dark now. Wind veering from S to SW and will continue to veer and strengths as the evening goes on.

Today in the southeast was pretty miserable. Not chilly but damp which 18meant putting a hoodie on and shoes for the first time all summer (from one who doesn't do bare feet in the normal way!!). However, when we got to Dublin this evening it was warmer out than in and even at 1.15 it's still 17 degrees apparently!!
