Java Virtual Machine error

    Wasn't sure where to put this.

    After installing Windows 10, I tried to launch a java based application and got a Java Virtual Machine error.
    I tried reinstalling java but can't do that either without getting the
    "Error Could Not Create Java Virtual Machine"
    message.

    I looked online and found instructions to try adding in the Environment Variables for _JAVA_OPTIONS, but this didn't fix it.

    Would anyone here know what to do?

    Sorted. It said to put _JAVA_OPTIONS in the System variables, but it worked when I put it in the User variable instead
