    Blank firing guns still require authorisation from your Super (not a license). So if you can convince the Super then i don't know of any law to prevent you having it.

    However buying it without this authorisation in place would cause problems not to mention the calls or looks you'll get when customs open the package to check it.

    With a proper necessity to have it I can see an authorisation being granted. Situations like theatrical performances, reenactment groups, film prop and so on spring to mind.
