I have a Philips TV Model 19PFL4322. Almost 10 years old.
Parts of the picture have disappeared over the top, bottom and both sides of the screen.
I would expect to be able to correct this ageing (?) via some adjustment.
The on screen MENU or the Factory menu don't provide any help.
I wonder if maybe there are some pots under the covers that adjust picture height and width.
Any TV service people able to comment on this please??

sounds like the aspect ratio is off, on zoom or super zoom,

you can cycle through the aspect ratio with the side arrows up and down will move the image up and down through 4:3 to 16:9 to fit to widescreen etc

Here's a copy of the manual. It might help:

This option is not available when using the HDMI input. It is called 'picture format' and is greyed out when using HDMI.

What are you displaying on the screen(ie. Horizon box, android box, satellite, etc)?
Is this with something new plugged in,or with something that displayed correctly before?

True you could try to alter the picture output of The device

It's the output from a desktop PC.

I had the same problem with my laptop and my Philips 32 inch.
Unfortunately,i can't quite remember how I solved it!!
When I have time in the morning, I'll try recreating the problem.
Edit:what graphics card is in the desktop?

yeah this is a setting on the PC.
Have you updated the drivers on the graphics card, sometimes they have nice display options with a nice interface, otherwise it is the standard windows resolution settings from the control panel
