Road trip: Vegas to San Fran

Hey everyone, Looking for some advice. Will be heading on a two week road trip starting in vegas and finishing in San Fran in October with some friends. Would like to get most of the trip planned before we go so any sites and stops along the way we should visit?

As you're doing a 2 week trip in addition to stuff in that thread, you could go up to Lake Tahoe and the surrounding areas and/or head east of Vegas to the Grand Canyon, Zion National Park, Bryce Canyon, Monument Valley, Meteor Crater and a load of other sights.
