New install speeds way off

    just got install and only getting 12mb down and 1mb up.  I'm only 100 m from exchange I was told I could expect 50mb on line.

    Is there any chance that I could be restricted?

    I'm 100m from exchange and am the first or second house on the line...I think there could be something wrong with it.

    Try with a wired connection to the modem and see what speed that gives.

    Speed test was done with a wired connection
