Revise Wise v.s Less Stress, More Success v.s Shortcut to Success

    Which one of these revision book brands is the best when studying for your Leaving Cert?

    I used at least one of each for different subjects for the Junior Cert and I personally thought Revise Wise and Less Stress, More Success were the best but what do you think?
    Do certain brands work with certain subjects better?


    My subjects for the LC:
    English (HL)
    Maths (OL)
    Irish (OL)
    German (HL)
    History (HL)
    Home Ec (HL)
    Economics (HL)
    Japanese (HL)

    It depends on you and how you learn. The best notes are ones you make yourself.

    I found Revise Wise the best but I only really used it for biology.

    yep, I remember buying the LSMS biology in 6th year and they left out the whole chapter on the ecosystem practical stuff. Revise Wise was much better in this case as they actually included it.

    Generally ReviseWise are better but grab Key Notes for English instead. It'll have notes on poetry and different texts tailored specifically to the year you're doing your leaving cert rather than just general tips like the Revise Wise.

    I remember educate.ie brought out some new revision books just before the leaving cert! Can't recall the name but I was looking at my friends biology one and it seemed quite useful! Might be worth a look!
