Hi, we have a laurel hedge that is about 6ft high but over the past few weeks I have noticed that some of the leaves have started to become shriveled and yellow, is it possible that the hedge is dying or is there an infestation from some sort of insect? I have noticed a lot of snails around the hedge, could they be doing this damage and how would that be fixed? I have attached 2 photos of the hedge

Could be too dry. Bigger hedges can prevent rain getting to the roots. It doesn't look too bad in those photos.
