If he does miss S'ton games fingers crossed it's just that game, a rest of a few days over something very minor wouldn't be too bad I hate to hear of the hospital scans tbh.

Origi has had tiny game time for a reason, I doubt he's impressing sufficiently in training.

Really frustrating that potentially our two best players of late are missing for what will be a difficult match. I know we have a decent squad - and there's still a chance both will play - but I think we're extremely difficult to stop with both of those on the pitch compared to, say, Sturridge and Wijnaldum.

I think we are a bit too hard on Sturridge. He does not suit the system and therefore appears a little lazy for not hunting down the ball when we loose it. He has a lovely touch but we don't supply enough for his style. Our current crop come deeper to pick it up and have the skill to keep going forward with it.

I would love him to score a hat trick but then we would have to play him again the week after as a starter.

How would we complain about him when he is scoring. We would have to pick another target to give out about.
