My Bill is always 45.01, i'm charged 45euro for my broadband package, then, at the bottom of the bill in a seperate section entitled 'ROUNDING ADJUSTMENT' another 1 cent is added to my bill, making it 45.01

Now i'm not arsed in any way about 1 cent, i was just wondering if eir actually understood the concept of rounding??

same with me but one months is 45.01 and then next is 44.99, think it has something to do with the package being broken down to less than cents i.e €45.00.1234567,still works out at the same cost over the cost my contract

those 1 cents from everyone must add up to a nice chunk of change throughout the year, maybe it pays for the christmas party??

Doesn't rounding only apply to cash transactions?

    Hi All,

The €45.01 is because the product excluding VAT is €36.59. When we add the VAT of 23% onto this it is €45.0057.

We round this up to the nearest decimal so it becomes €45.01.

I am very sorry for the confusion caused on this and I hope this has given you some clarification.

    Kind Regards,
    Ciara
